Top and bottom feeding
TOP FEEDING: For ALL NEMA 3R:
ALL of the U.S., QO and Homeline load centers, NEMA 3R(outdoor), come with the Main Breaker or Main Lugs located at the top of the load center interior and can be top fed.
BOTTOM FEEDING: For ALL NEMA 3R: 1) NO NEMA 3R(outdoor), QO or Homeline load center can be rotated, neither the interior or the complete load center. 2) The smaller FIXED Main QO and Homeline load centers can be bottom fed by entering the bottom endwall with the incoming conductors and either going directly into the Main Lugs or running the conductors up past the interior, through the gutter area and making a loop around into the main lugs. . 3) The NEMA 3R(outdoor) CONVERTIBLE Mains, can be bottom fed by entering through the bottom endwall of the load center with the incoming conductors and routing the conductors up the side of the interior, through the gutter area to loop them around into the Main Lugs or Main Breaker lugs.
