Ask a Question

What does the ACb parameter in the SEt menu (menu #2) do?

This allows the customer to change direction of the motor without changing any re-wiring.

If set for yes then ACb phase is active and if set to no then ABC phase rotation is active

We do not recommend changing this parameter to change rotation of motor if the motor wiring is incorrect.
If the rotation of the motor is reverse of the desired direction it is recommended that two of the three motor leads connected to the drive output be swapped.

If there is bypass, test the rotation for bypass before changing any wiring. If the bypass was correct rotation already, make the change between the drive output and the isolation contactor. If bypass was wrong also, make the change after the contactors.

Changing rotation before a drive will not affect the output phase rotation of the drive.
