Below are some of the differences between the QO and Homeline load centers and branch circuit breakers;
(PoN = Plug-On Neutral)

1) Tin Plated Copper bus bars             Tin plated Aluminum bus bars
2) Shielded Bus bars No Shielded bus bars
3) Available in Single and Three Phase Available ONLY in Single Phase
4) Surface and Flush covers available separately  Combination, Surface/Flush cover ONLY and comes standard with load centers.
5) Available in both traditional(Non-PoN) and PoN        ALL New Convertible, double row construction, Homeline load centers are Plug-On Neutral design
6) QO PoN panels do not accept tandems                        ALL PoN panels accept tandems in all spaces
7) Split branch neutrals located at top of the interior Split branch neutrals distributed down both right and left sides of interiors

or differences between the QO and Homeline branch breakers see FA321509. 
2) QO and Homeline are NOT interchangeable, so the QO branch breakers CANNOT be used in Homeline and the Homeline branch breakers CANNOT be used in QO.
