XW system with multiple XW devices sharing a single Battery Temperature Sensor (BTS)

A single Battery Temperature Sensor (BTS) will automatically share the battery temperature information with all the XW devices on the XW System Xanbus network.

In order for multilple XW devices (e.g. (2) XW4024 and (2) XW Mppt 60 ) to share a single Battery Temperature Sensor (BTS) you will need to confirm that :

1) All XW system Devices are connected to the same battery bank.
2) The DC Connections menu item ?[HouseBatt1]? is selected in each of the XW system device's menu (see below)

Menu: Advanced Settings/Multi-Unit Config/Connections/ DC Connections /?[HouseBatt1]?

"[HouseBatt1]? must be selected on each of the XW system device's menus in order for the XW system devices to share one temp sensor. By selecting this, it also synchronizes the charging for all XW system device's that are connected together in order to charge more effectively.

Only the XW device that has the Battery Temperature Sensor (BTS) plugged in to it will have the actual "Battery Temp" (e.g. 80 def F) in the "Meters" Menu. Devices that do not have a Battery Temperature Sensor (BTS) plugged in to them will show Battery Temp as ?Not Available? in the "Meters" Menu.

Using more than one Battery Temperature Sensor may result in undefined behavior. The system will accept only one BTS and use it for the system. Other devices that have a BTS connected will generally display a value, but the value may not be correct and may not update.
