Conext SW Neutral Switching

Conext SW Neutral Switching

Issue :
Conext SW series switches the NEUTRAL (disconnects from internal transformer) for AC pass thru (120/240V input). Neutral IN/OUT are common within the CSW, so having a completely isolated and separate NEUTRAL for input and output is unnecessary (diagram on pg.3-8 must be noted, which shows common NEUTRAL).

Environment :
Residential Battery-Backup

Resolution :
Be aware CSW has common neutral internally.

Cause :
Conext SW neutral switches internally to energize transformer for split-phase when inverting, and when supplying 120VAC to L1-N. When operating as charger for 120/240VAC source, the internal neutral relay disconnects from transformer so it operates as stricly 240V charger.
