How to resolve a connection with somove to the Altivar VFD or the Altistart soft starters when getting error during scan, after you have set baud rate, format, parity and the comm port?

Issue:
Somove will get an error when attempting to scan or connect to a device.

Product Line:
Somove, ATV61, ATV71, ATV212, ATV312, ATV12, ATV32, ATS22, ATS48

Environment:
 
All serial number
Cause:
An error occurred during the installation

Resolution:

To resolve this issue, somove must be completely uninstalled and then reinstalled.  After uninstalling run the somove cleaner before reinstalling.  See attachment for step by step instruction.
