What does fault 0076 mean?

Issue:
Inverter faulted on 0076 (AC\DC contactor open). Unit does not have a dual power supply upgrade

Product Line:
GT250
Environment:

Cause:
Wrong software installed on the CCU board

Resolution:
Note: The work instruction provided is meant for those who are qualified to work on the inverter. This means that they should know how to properly Lock out and Tag Out (LOTO) the inverter..., etc.

This is an error that normally arrives after the inverter has had the dual power supply upgrade. We combined the fault 0016 (DC contactor open) & 0018 (AC contactor open) to make new fault 0076 (AC\DC contactor open). They did this due to a lack of extra binary inputs. By combining both binary inputs for 0016 & 0018, we could use the remaining one free binary input for the warning 8000 (if one of the dual power supplies failed).

Note: If the system did not have the dual power supply upgrade, then the inverter could get confused since all the CCU boards came with the latest software loaded into it. Simply down grade the CCU software to the proper revision. You can contact the solar expert for the older version of the software or check it out in the solar exchange site.
