Can you take the ATV212 drive out of PID mode and control the drive locally by pushing the local remote button?

Issue:
Can you take the ATV212 drive out of PID mode and control the drive locally by pushing the local remote button?

Product Line:
Altivar 212

Environment:
All serial numbers for Altivar 212

Cause:
N/A

Resolution:
When the Altivar 212 drive is put in PID mode and the set point is programmed through the HMI the drive cannot function under local mode. .
The drive will stay under PID mode regardless of the Local/Remote setting on the drive.
To take the drive out of PID mode you will have to assign a reference switching to a logic input by assigning either F112 or F113 to 38 [Frequency source]
When the specified assinged input is energized the drive will be taken out of PID mode.
Once the drive is taken out of PID mode, it can now be put in local mode by toggling the LOCAL/REMOTE button.
To put it back in PID mode, just de-energize the specified assinged input.

Programming Example
F360 set to 1
FNOD set to 3
Drive is in PID mode on VIA for 4-20mA signal. The HMI can be used to adjust the set point. (Toggling between LOCAL/REMOTE will keep the drive in PID mode regardless)

Set F112 to 38 (set LI R selection to Frequency source)
When terminal logic input R is energized then the drive is taken out of PID mode.
