Can the ``G`` shunt trip on an F or K frame breaker used with the GFM also be used to trip the breaker from a remote source?
G shunt trip
No. Applying voltage to the ``G`` shunt trip will also apply voltage to the unprotected GFM output, and will damage the GFM. Also, the ``G`` shunt trip has no coil clearing switch, and will burn out on a longer than momentary contact.
