Our EV chargers are compatible with plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles built per SAE J1772 standards, and also meet the appropriate safety and code specifications.
The time it takes to recharge an EV will depend on the power levels of charging infrastructure available. The various power levels are defined by the Society of Automotive Engineers in their SAE J1772 standard. EVlink™ charging stations from Schneider Electric are compatible with plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles built per SAE J1772 standards and are available in Level 2 and Level 3 (fast-charge).
- Level 1: Standard charge time: 12-16 hours
- Level 2: Standard charge time 4-8 hours
- Level 3: Standard charge is less than 30 minutes (also known as fast-charge)
