Replacing Sockets with Relay Changes

When crossing a relay, or replacing an existing relay with different part number or series, does the socket need to be replaced as well?

Product Chaaracteristics

Relays are only UL approved/listed when they are used with the socket that is also listed with them.  Using alternate sockets can impact the voltage and/or current rating of the relay, and so sockets should always be replaced when a new relay of different manufacturer, part number, or series is used in an application.
